Welcome to Rankin Construction

CEO's Message

The company has grown beyond my expectations since its incorporation in 1978. Initially known as Stephens and Rankin Inc., I thought it was fitting in 2001 to change the name to Rankin Construction Inc. to acknowledge my children in the business, Wendy Wing, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and Brian Rankin, President. Mr. Dave Stephens is no longer a shareholder, but I will always owe Dave a debt of gratitude for giving me the opportunity to be a shareholder in 1978, and for his assistance in helping the company grow and prosper in those early years.

A company is only as good as the people that comprise its workforce. It has always been a source of great pride to me that we have so many employees of diverse backgrounds and skills and in many cases belonging to different unions, but still working harmoniously to complete the project to the highest possible standards. This pride I have in our employees manifests itself in the pride they have in their work. A job well done is a vital parameter for success and that will always be our company’s goal.

Tom Rankin, P.Eng., CEO
